Senior Advisor Brad Middleton Added As Thursday, October 31st Keynote at CSPEN’s 10th Annual Conference
Overview
For multiple years now CSPEN has been honored to have Ben Miller, Principal Deputy Under Secretary, Office of the Under Secretary present at our annual conference. This year Ben was unable to make the trip, but in his stead he is sending Senior Advisor Brad Middleton from the Under Secretary’s office to provide our attendees with a Federal Regulatory Update.
Mr. Middleton’s presentation will be the Keynote address on the morning of October 31st, rounding out the agenda for CSPEN’s 10th annual conference! As part of his presentation, CSPEN hopes that Brad may be able to give us a real time summary of the anticipated Final Regulations on the 2023-2024 Federal Negotiated Rulemaking issues (e.g. Student Loan Debt Relief and
Brad Middelton’s Bio
Brad Middleton currently serves as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the Under Secretary. Brad joined the Department in 2022 as Senior Advisor for Strategy in the Federal Student Aid Office of Enforcement. Prior to that, Brad served 14 years on the staff of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin of Illinois. During that time, he held a variety of policy roles, including spending 10 years as Education Policy Director. Brad is a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
