At 9:19 PM ET the Senate Cloakroom posted a notice (x.com/SenateCloakroom/status/1950365613068571127?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet) seeking to end debate and call for a vote by the full Senate of President Trump’s nominee Nicholas Kent to be confirmed as the Under Secretary of Education.
With cloture filed, the Senate could take up a vote on Under Secretary nominee Kent at any time.
