CVTA Advocacy Day
Dear CVTA Members,
You are the subject matter experts in the truck driver training industry, and Congress needs to hear from you!
Come together with fellow members for community and advocacy amid the beautiful cherry blossoms at CVTA’s 2026 Advocacy Day!
The dates are set for March 25th and 26th in Washington, D.C.
Advocacy Day gives CVTA members the opportunity to meet with Members of Congress and their staff to discuss issues affecting commercial driver training and workforce development.
On Wednesday, March 25, in the late afternoon, members will join a short prep session with opening remarks from Jim Ward, former President of the Truckload Carriers Association.
The evening of Wednesday, March 25th there will be a group dinner at Jackie’s in the Navy Yard.
On Thursday, March 26, members will spend the day on Capitol Hill meeting with key congressional offices.
As a bonus, Advocacy Day happens during Washington’s cherry blossom season, which is a great time to visit the nation’s capital. Learn more about cherry blossom season here: https://cherryblossomwatch.com/2026-cherry-blossoms/
Participation is open to CVTA members only. We look forward to seeing you in Washington.
