Diverse Group of Witnesses Invited to Testify On Free Speech Today Before the House Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development

Today, at 10:15 AM ET, the Subcommittee on Higher Education and Workforce Development will host a hearing entitled “Speech or Silence? The Future of the First Amendment in Higher Education.”

As the title portends the focus of the hearing will be on the application of at least one of the fundamental freedoms contained in the First Amendment of the Constitution – specifically freedom of speech.

Witness slated to testify this morning include:
