On Sept 30 CSPEN Met With Key Department Officials About the Reporting Deadline and The Topics You Provided Us To Present to Them

Overview
First of all, CSPEN would like to thank all of you who took the time to share emails with us regarding your questions, frustrations, concerns, and recommendations regarding the current Financial Value Transparency & Gainful Employment (2024 and 2025 Reporting Cycles) and new Student Tuition and Transparency and Earnings Accountability (2026 Cycle – opt in) regulations.

As we have previously reported, and the Department has sent out multiple notices and updates to remind all institutions of higher education, today is the deadline for submission of the third cycle of data related to the existing FVT/GE regulations which will sunset as the new STATS/Earnings Accountability regulations take effect. We hope that you have been working hard to use the guidance, templates and information provided by the Department to comply with today’s reporting submission deadline.

Today, CSPEN will focus on the two sets of regulations, key insights gained from our conversation with the Department based upon your input, and what’s next!

What’s Next
Prior to our meeting yesterday CSPEN combined all of your emails, case studies, and requests into a single document and shared it with the Department officials as a primer to help guide at least portions of the meeting.
