Deregulation Mandated By Executive Order “Blowing-up” or “Dismantling” The Department of Education Openly Being Discussed + DEI Continuing to Impact Activities In Washington
Overview
Lots of different activities are taking place over within the U.S. Department of Education right now! Announcements continue to come out regarding the release of individuals in top level positions like the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the Inspector General, the furloughs of individuals with heavy responsibilities related to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plans, the review of countless others who were “voluntold” (told to take voluntary DEI training programs), the dismissal of the head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau – linked heavily to the actions of the Department of Education through their oversight actions.
AND, as if that were not enough to monitor and report on, there is the latest Presidential Executive Order to “unleash prosperity through deregulation” which requires all Cabinet-level agencies to identify at least ten (10) existing rules, regulations, or guidance documents to be repealed whenever an agency promulgates a new rule.
AND, then there is all the media coverage and rumors circulating regarding the dismantling of the U.S. Department of Education.
