Why CSPEN:

  1. We are not a group trying to create jobs or pay large salaries. We understand the need to stay lean while being a mouthpiece, communicator, and advocator for schools within our sector. In this organization, a little goes a long way.
  2. We advocate for career colleges and trade schools. Our small school approach provides a larger voice for schools who cannot afford a lot of travel, ongoing dues, or large membership commitments.
  3. We work together with accreditors, state agencies, and national organizations to centralize communications and constantly provide regulatory updates through emails, webinars, public policy meetings and our annual conference.
  4. This is a 501(c)(3), so any small donation is not only tax deductible, but still makes a big dent on what we can offer to our partners.
  5. We have the agility to ask our community what they need from us and nimbleness tore-calibrate who we are and what we do on a constant basis.
  6. This is an organization RUN BY OUR PARTNERS. For what it’s worth, all of the board members are schools, vendors, and advocates for our schools.
